Join us June 4-6 for a special Heritage Sunday weekend as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Calvary Baptist Church!

This 3-day celebration will be a wonderful time of fellowship, reunion, and thanking God for His goodness to our church over the past 50 years.

To kick off this 50th-anniversary celebration, we’ll be having a special Friday evening service on June 4 with former pastors preaching, and special music by the Lone Star Baptist College ladies tour group.

The next day (Saturday, June 5) will be a full day beginning with a church-wide soulwinning breakfast at 9 AM before we go out into our community to invite people to church and try to lead them to Jesus Christ.

Then that Saturday afternoon beginning at 2 PM, we’ll have a wide variety of activities and games on the church property for people of all ages! We’ll have a bounce house, water balloon launch, basketball & volleyball, horseshoes, dunk tank, and much more!

At 4:30 PM, we’ll have a cookout with hamburgers, hotdogs, and a variety of sides, drinks, and desserts. Then we’ll wrap up the evening with a special outdoor service at 6 PM with some more preaching and singing.

Finally on Sunday, June 6, we’ll have our normal service times with Sunday School at 9:30 AM and the morning service at 10:30 AM. Then at 5 PM, we’ll have a potluck meal in the fellowship hall followed by a wonderful time of preaching and singing at 6 PM as we close out the weekend’s festivities.
